I am the founder and Clinic Director of The Meadowlark Clinic. I have worked in the mental health field since 2005 and maintain a small clinical caseload alongside leading our team. My approach to therapy is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and a deep understanding of the broader systems and life experiences that shape our mental health and well-being.
My doctoral training and professional focus center on childbirth, child development, parenting, and how these pivotal life stages intersect with emotional well-being. I hold specialized training and experience in perinatal mental health, including perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs). My clinical perspective is enriched by my diverse background including work as a birth doula, childbirth educator, academic researcher, and maternal health advocate. I am also the author of Dear Mama, You Matter: Honest Talk about the Transition to Motherhood.
Beyond individual therapy, I collaborate with professionals and organizations through business mentoring, consultation, speaking, and perinatal mental health workplace consulting.
